Why my lessons feel different
Most learners don't freeze because they lack grammar. They freeze because they feel watched. I spent twenty-five years on stage before I became a teacher, and I use the same techniques actors use to stay calm and clear under pressure.
Practise in role
We rehearse real situations, such as an IELTS examiner's questions, a job interview or a team meeting. Playing a role takes the pressure off, so you take more risks and learn faster.
Learn with your body
New words and structures are paired with movement and breath. Language you have physically practised comes back to you much more easily under pressure.
Speak for a reason
You talk because the situation needs it: to persuade, explain or answer. That builds the fluency and natural rhythm examiners and colleagues notice.

IELTS Speaking preparation
The Speaking test lasts 11 to 14 minutes and is the same for Academic and General Training. We prepare for all three parts until the format feels familiar.
- Part 1, 2 and 3 practice with realistic examiner questions
- Planning and delivering a fluent two-minute long turn
- Work on the four marking criteria: fluency and coherence, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation
- Full mock speaking tests with detailed written feedback
- Techniques for staying calm when your mind goes blank
Best for: students and professionals who need a higher Speaking band for study, work or visas.
Business English
For professionals who use English at work and want to sound as capable as they really are.

Best for: intermediate to advanced speakers (around B1 and above) who already work in English or want to.

About me
I'm Delyth. I worked as a professional actor for twenty-five years before I moved into teaching, and I've spent the last ten years teaching languages and drama in UK schools.
I'm also a language learner myself. Welsh is my first language, and I know how it feels to understand everything and still struggle to speak when it matters. That feeling is what my lessons are designed to change.
For executives and teams preparing for high-stakes presentations or investor pitches, I also offer specialist coaching through Fourth Wall Method.
Questions
Are the lessons online?
Yes. All lessons take place on Zoom or Google Meet, so you can join from anywhere. You just need a quiet room, a camera and a microphone.
What level do I need to be?
Lessons work best if you can already hold a basic conversation, around B1 (intermediate) or above. If you're not sure of your level, we'll check it on the free call.
Do you help with Academic or General Training IELTS?
Both. The Speaking test is the same for both versions, so the preparation is the same. My lessons focus on Speaking only.
Can you guarantee a band score?
No honest teacher can guarantee a score. What I can promise is focused practice, clear feedback on each marking criterion, and a plan for exactly what to work on.
How do I pay?
After our free call, I'll send you a secure online payment link. Lessons are paid in advance.
What if I need to cancel?
Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be moved to another time. Lessons cancelled with less notice are charged in full.
